Nothing Gold Can Stay

 -Author's Note: This is my opinion of what "nothing gold can stay" means. I would like feed back on if you agree with my opinion or not.

Nothing gold can stay means to me that you can be really happy at one period in time but the later your world comes crashing down. This relates to the "The Outsiders" characters because the greasers will be chilling and being happy but then the soc come by them and start picking on them. It turned a gold moment into a blue moment.

Darry - summery

Darry has light blue green eyes, sandy brown red hair and is tall. He is the oldest out of three brothers and his younger brothers are Sodapop and Ponyboy. He takes the parent role because he doesn't have any parents. I think he will die later in the book because there will be a twist.

Conflict

Ponyboy likes Cherry but there is a problem. Cherry is a Soc and Ponyboy is a greaser. They are in different gangs.

Am I Proud of my Country?

Yes, I am proud of my country because we have freedom and everyone 18 and older can vote for a new president, governor and anything similar. This doesn't mean I agree with everything we do but I am proud.

Gabi's Prblems from the Beast by Walter Dean Myers

           Gabi is suffering from drug addiction and cannot stop.Why? What causes a person to become so addicted to drugs?

            First, Gabi learns that her "little brother is now in a gang”. And that is the least of Gabi’s worries, shockingly.  Her grandpa is going blind and he needs help moving around and getting things so he moved in with her and her little brother. On the other side of things her mom is in the hospital and later dies which causes her to use drugs even more. Luckily her boyfriend Spoon helps her with her problems she is facing by taking her to rehab. After that everything gets better which started with rehab.
           I get why people are driven to using drugs but I would still never use drugs as something to help with my  problems.

Revised Intro

            Smoke in the sky, people screaming and crying while watching a disturbing amount of innocent lives pass away in the twin towers. It’s more than one or two, it’s thousands of lives. You think that with all the money we spend on taxes they would be able to stop this in advance. We shouldn’t have to pay taxes if they aren’t going to use were we need it most.
